many don't believe in God, because they don't believe in other myths..... How do you explain love, roses, rainbows, etc. Did they just manifest out of luck?? Everything requires a creator to build it. Isn't that rational??

Yes, Everything requires a creator or maker. Only a mighty organizer and lawmaker could direct the powerful forces at work so that they would result in superb organization and law. Hence, scientific evidence and reason provide solid backing for the Bible’s declaration: “The heavens are declaring the glory of God; and of the work of his hands the expanse is telling.”—Psalm 19:1.
Instead of leaving us in the dark as to what is behind the origin of all things, the Bible tells us the answer simply and understandably. It confirms the observations of science, as well as our own, that nothing comes into existence by itself. Although we personally were not on hand when the universe was constructed, it is evident that it had to have a Master Builder, as the Bible reasons: “Every house is constructed by someone, but he that constructed all things is God.”—Hebrews 3:4.
When you look at a beautiful building, have you ever wondered who the builder was? If someone told you that no one had built the building, but that it had simply come into existence by itself, would you believe it? Of course not!

I believe in God, but that doesn't mean that I have to connect love, rainbows and roses to Him (although I do). I don't believe in God because of something I read or was taught, I believe in Him because there is something inside me that says it's right. It's the same something that tells me to take a detour on my regular route and find out later that if I hadn't I would have been in the accident they just reported on the news. Whether or not you believe that everything has to have a creator depends on your concept of existence, as do most things. Not just human existence, but the existence of all things. If you are a person who believes that things can really disappear into and appear out of thin air, you probably aren't the same person who will research the origin of the word "word." Your rationale comes from experience or lack there of. If you are willing to believe the thin air theory you are likely to believe that things have no beginning or end for that matter, therefore the "everything requires a creator" theory goes right out the window.

you won't be able to evaluate. God is a genuine Holy Spirit. Santa Claus is a made up personality who receives stuck in chimneys ever3y Christmas Eve, The teeth Fairy should be a g.. dentist and Harry Potter works with clay.

You are the 419,732nd human to ask me this question, so I am going to answer this one for the records. Be assured that the Tooth Fairy is just as real as I am, even if your older and so-called wiser friends tease you about believing in her. You just need to have faith and believe in the Tooth Fairy, and she will monetarily compensate you for your teeth if you place them under your pillow at night and fall to sleep before your parents go to bed.

A little word of advice from God - never tell your parents that you do not believe in the Tooth Fairy, because this will cause the Tooth Fairy to stop bringing you the cold hard cash money you deserve for your teeth.
................This is a complex concept with many important facets, but I will get straight to the point. Christmas is a very important holiday for the economies of capitalist nations because of all the presents that Santa Claus has to buy, primarily for humans belonging to middle and upper class families in the United States and other western countries.

Corporations and their media puppets are instrumental in promoting this holiday, even at the expense of losing sight of the real meaning of Christmas (which, by the way, is not to celebrate worldly possessions. . . quite the contrary, but I digress). Satan Claus, er. . . I mean Santa Claus, delivers them on Christmas Day because the corporations found that they could join forces to effectively and efficiently target and win over a large demographic (Christians) through a rather simple but ingenius merger of commerce and religion.

Er... rainbows are a reflection of light, showing its full spectrum because it is passing through water which distorts it somewhat. that's science.
Love is a feeling people have to they will reproduce and continue to survive. Science.
Roses...pretty, yeah, but don't tell me God exists because of roses. Humans can make pretty stuff.
Why is it so irrational to believe that everything manifested out of luck? We can prove it, if you'd take the time to learn about evolution and early Earth biology.

Nope, that's not rational.

Love is an emotion generated by our brains, just like anger, happiness, etc.

Rainbows are not any mystery either, it is just the result of the refractive dispersion of sunlight in drops of rain or mist.

Roses are a plant species which has evolved as well as all the other plant species.

Just because you like these items or think they're "pretty" doesn't mean they are any different than all the other organisms and functions in the world. No luck involved.

God is about as realistic as the tooth fairy from what I can see!

No it's not rational. It's chilish at best and ignorance at it's worst.
If there is a "builder" or a "designer" then why then is there NO evidence to support it's existence?
Oh and by the way, rainbows? What? are you an 8 year old girl or something.
Rainbows are optical illusions, nothing more. Just like your god.

Any more brilliant questions?
