1) Eat smoked tuna with a glass of chilled white chablis in a little street cafe in Paris overlooking the Seinne .
2) Go down to the docks and buy a fresh tuna from a sport fishing boat coming in. That same day grill it in a mix of a little lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.
3) Go to a first class Japanese restaurant and order tuna sushi and sashimi, or a rainbow roll if you like. Drink chilled Saki or hot green tea with that.
4) Go to Honolulu and find one of those ABC stores. Buy a chilled tuna snadwich with crisp lettuce and a pack of papaya. Take it to the beach and eat it for breakfast. It will taste much better than the hotel breakfast.
5) Go to your local fish store and find tuna on a day it is really fresh. Don't be afraid to ask to smell it first. It should be firm and not stinky, a somewhat translucent rose color, maybe with a bit of irridescence. Cook it that day as follows: First preheat the oven to 400, wash your fish, marinate it for 5 minutes in a mix of: white wine, a bit of mustard, lemon juice, salt and olive oil. Pleace it in a shallow baking dish with the following topping: chopped shallots, chopped plum tomatoes, capers in olive oil.... Bake for 25 mins.
6) Go to the best restaurant you know of that offers seared tuna and enjoy!

Depends on if it's canned tuna or like tuna steaks or something. For a great sandwich spread, drain canned tuna, add 1 tbsp. mayonnaise, 1 tsp. sweet pickle relish, 1/4 onion, diced finely, 1 celery stalk thinly sliced and 1 tsp of juice from the pickle relish. Mix all well and spread on bread and top with lettuce and tomato.
Tuna steaks are great on the grill. Brush lightly with olive oil, sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and salt, place on very hot grill for 2-4 minutes per side. Sprinkle with juice of half a lemon and serve with yellow rice (i use Mahatma brand rice and canned mushrooms that have been drained) w/mushrooms and a tomato salad (2 tomatoes, cut into 8ths, 1 cucumber, peeled, halved, seeded and sliced, 1/2 red onion, sliced thin, tossed in a vinaigrette or italian dressing) for a quick and easy summer meal.

I don't understand in a day and age when information is so readily available, that people don't understand basic facts like these without having to ask? Vegetarians don't eat living creatures. Oysters are not planted, they do not contain any tools of pollination nor do they contain chlorophyll.

you can make a cheesy tuna casserole, add it to salads, mix it with mayonnaise and dill pickle juice and have it on crackers or make a sandwich, straight out of the can or make tuna patties.
