The ages of 3-5 are considered the preschool years.

0-12 months= infancy
13-24 months= toddler
3-5 years= preschool

It depends on who you talk too. I would say 5 or 6 because they start Kindergarten. Some people would go by how they act. It is up to you what you think. Keep up the search because even teachers and moms have different answers.
