You should try the cold turkey method. Throw out all diapers, Take him to buy his "big boy" underwear and tell him he does not wear diapers anymore. But you should buy pull ups for night time and nap time. Be sure to tell him that these pull ups are for when he is SLEEPING, no other time and that you are so proud that he is potty training.

taking him to buy "big boy diapers, or big boy underwear" will motivate him. Every child is different, don't get to worried. take him to pick out the potty, make a chart were he gets stickers or "rewards" for going to the potty. My son is two, we also do the cherrio thing in the potty. When you or daddy go to the bathroom, tell him that your goingt o the potty, so he sees that you guys do it. Good Luck!

Try giving him a "treat" when he does use the potty. It worked with my son. Also some people say put cheerios or froot loops in the toilet & have him aim for them like its a game. Good luck.

I let two of my boys run around the house nude, and if I saw that they were getting ready to "let loose" I took them to the potty, and praised then when they used to potty and told them "Maybe next time" when they didn't.
