There is a two-fold answer to this.

1) Christianity is the predominant religion practiced by Western culture and is the one even non-practitioners are basically familiar with.

2) In my experience, Christianity is the only one that answers the questions of life that I had. I tried Buddhism, Judaism, Islam and Native American spirituality as well as nihilism and atheism. None had the answers I was looking for.

Just a suggestion - if you are looking for answers regarding religions other than Christianity, I would try saying that in the question.

Well because they are so charged with their God that they forget that the majority of the world practices a different religion then them. It is also most likely because you are in the western world which is predominatly Christian. I am with you. How can any one religion be the right one? Seriously, how can they be so damned arrogant and act like they "know something" that the rest of us don't? I think its the other way around... its called Science. They need to put down the bible, pick a book on biology and read it.

I believe the case is that most people on here are christian or have grown up around Christians and are agnostic or atheist. America is a christian nation majority. Granted there are several other religions and there are alot of godless people as well, but most of the Caucasian European decedent majority of the United States is christian and thus for most, they don't get a big exposure to other religions.

Really? I've seen quite a few answers by people of other religions. I'm a Christian myself, so naturally, I'm going to answer as one, as are the others. It just depends who happens to be on Yahoo Answers when you're asking.

Probably because Christianity is the most popular religion in western civilization, that's why you get the most responses regarding Christianity.

Islam, Buddhism and Hinduism are religions located prmarily in third world countries where internet access is not as easily accessible.
