No matter what I do, I can't save a Sim from Death. Please help me.

You need a Sim in the same household who has a good relationship with that Sim to plead with the Reaper.
If you're trying to get an aspiration for a knowledge Sim, your best bet is to have them frightened to death by a ghost. Have your knowledge Sim in red desperation (like really, really tired and really, really hungry), and have them stand outside doing nothing until they get scared, and chances are, they'll die from fright. Have your still alive Sim run outside. With your still alive Sim selected, just click on the Reaper, once their loved one has died, and chose plead.
There is a chance that the Reaper won't bring back your Sim, so always save before you try this!
All methods of death work, except for drowing and being hit by a satellite (these result in instant death with no return).

If you have university, you can get a phone that allows you to contact the dead. It's a career reward for the paranormal career, or you can unlock it with UnlockCareerRewards cheat. The more money you give to the grim reaper, the better off the resurrected sim. Go for about 9,000. The sim should come back healthy and happy to be alive. For your second question, I'm very sorry, but Sims cannot have abortions. It seems the only birth control in the sims is abstinence. Maybe you'll learn to love the child? If not, you can move in an adult sim, then move him back out, taking the unwanted baby with him (after the child is born, of course).

shut off the game immediately by pulling the plug from your computer. while this does not safe current progress, you sim won't die. or just don't click on the save button and exit. i've tried pleading with the grim reaper and it's just not a guarantee.

Have someone who loves that sim alot, plead with the grim reaper, but you have to get to him in time

get them love the sim alot or use the death phone a call them back to life...lotta cheats out there.

Well first of all do not let them cook if their skills are not high enough and feed and take care of them so next time be more careful!!!!!!Believe me I should know I have the game>>>>
