I met a guy at a club and we hung out afterwards. He lives 2 hours away (also where my brother lives). He said to call if I'm ever in the area, but he hasn't called me since the night we met. Should I call him if I'm in town or should I just forget about him? I've had people tell me to call him and others tell me not to (they say if he is interested he will call). I don't want a relationship out of this, just someone to hang out with...what should I do?

No. Don't call guys, make them call you. (Unless you have been dating them for awhile.) It's part of the chase....if he likes you, he will call you. If you call him it can seem too aggressive and you might scare him off or come off as desperate. Just wait. In the meantime continue on with your life.
There's a book called The Rules, read it. It's old school but it will help you find and keep a good man. =)
Ok, if you ONLY want a friendship I don't suppose it would hurt to call...I'm still against it, but it's totally up to you.

If you're not interested in a relationship, then maybe you should wait for him to call you. Then again, an attractive young lady like yourself should't hang out at clubs, looking to meet guys. Call. You already said you want a 'friend'. Call and get a feel for how he responds... you will learn pretty quickly if he wants to see you again from his reaction.
It is old-fashioned to wait for the guy. And since sometimes they are too shy to call you may lose the opportunity to have another friend!
What have you got to lose? The answer to your question is already NO (since you haven't called), so call and maybe the answer will be YES!

He said to call if your in the area right? So call him; maybe he's waiting for you to call him, or doesn't want to appear overly anxious. You never know; if you don't call you could miss out of the opportunity to make a new friend. If he doesn't respond; well then, that's his loss.

be a mature person, call say hi im in the area visiting my bro what u doin want to go for coffee? be mature about it... if he says no and makes a lame excuse dont bother next time, if he says no with a valid reason organise another day, if he says yes bonus... what u got to lose.. you me the guy once... its not like your risking your life calling him or anything... and the worst he can do is say no... big deal... he wasnt worth it anyway if he gonna act like a prat!

If you are in town why not give him a call. I'm sure he wouldn't mind hanging out with you considering he said call if you were ever there.
Just call him, i think you will be glad you did.

I wouldn't call if I were you. He's obviously not that interested in you. If you called him and he claims not to remember you, wouldn't you feel stupid? If you do call him, wait a few days longer. It's all about the game
