That must have been the most stupid bartender on the planet. When the whiskey is a cheap whiskey then you usually dilute it with a little water to offset the bad or bitter taste. Sometimes you get a whiskey on the rocks (with ice) and so as the ice melts the whiskey gets better. But with a more expensive whiskey this process isn't nessecary because the flavor is smooth - like Johnnie Walker BLACK LABEL or Buchanan's.

it could be you just don't like whiskey, try Bourbon, or Scotch, or rye they are all whiskeys but made differently and have completely different tastes.
My favorite drink is Johnny Walker Red Scotch and Ginger ale. Try it you may like it better than a whiskey and Water.
Also the brand of Whiskey will make a very big difference.

Ice, whiskey, & water. That's it.
Was maybe the bartender trying to be "cute" or did they want to know if you wanted a particular brand of whiskey?

Mr. Madison, what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Depends on how much whiskey you drink. Dehydration would kick in faster than normal, so my educated guess would be three days, give or take depending on your intake.

The correct spelling is Whisky. If you ask for whiskey you'll get some american spirit.

Well, you might add ice to it. Or even one of those stirrer thingy's. You can stick your tongue into a whiskey and water. Or stir with your finger.
