i really dont want anything serious with this guy because iam already trying with another guy,so how do i say so long to a guy who's always around! without hurtting anyone's feelings?

You just have to tell him. Yes there will be hurt feelings, but if you don't do anything about it, it will turn out worse.

The worst thing to do to a guy is confuse him. So I you give him "mixed" signals, by not telling him the truth, he will be very confused.
So, it is the best thing to do for both of you. You stop talking to this geek, and he figures it out.
