Mary Magdalene was never married to Jesus and did not have any children with Jesus Christ. Jesus did not have a woman or any children with anyone while he was here on earth.

1) Mary Magdalene, and Mary mother of Jesus were two different people. If you are deeply religious it might be good to know the stories better.
2) So what if Jesus had kids? What is wrong with having kids?
3) So what if Mary Magdalene was a whore? Remember that Christ came for the sinners – not for the righteous.
Perhaps a better way of resolving this – because it is IMPOSSIBLE for any one to know the truth about a relationship that took place 2000 years ago – is to consider why you think it is important. The important part about Christ is Easter – it is his death, and resurrection, and the gift of grace, and eternal life that he bestows upon you. Is that somehow impacted by his dining with tax collectors and prostitutes? - I thin it is – in that it assures me that if those can be saved and loved by Christ – so can I. Does Christ’s associations with the unclean change the truth of salvation? Does Christ’s associations with the unclean make him somehow less powerful or less important? Does Christ’s associations with the sinful somehow make him sinful? Not at all.
The only way you will ever resolve this in a useful way is to resolve for yourself why you think this largely irrelevant, and possibly true, possibly untrue, story about the life of Christ is so important. The only way you will resolve this for yourself is to think theologically about this – and decide for yourself what is important.
Is it important if Christ had kids?
Is it important that Christ is the savior of the world?
Does one exclude the other – and why.
What is the important part of the Christianity, the gospel, or something else?
Is this story about Mary Magdalene more or less important than the gospel, and does it even have an effect on the Gospel?

The Virgin Mary is different from Mary Magdalene. The Virgin Mary is the mother of Jesus. I don't know if Mary Magdalene was a hooker but she did not have a child with Jesus. That's the DaVinci Code saying that she had a child with him. The DaVinci Code is fake.

The prostitute in the New Testament was not named Mary, she wasn't named at all. Mary Magdalene was not a prostitute, that was fabricated by one of the early popes who didn't want women teaching in the church, so he said she was a prostitute to discredit the concept of women in the church. If anything, Mary Magdalene was basically a diciple. She did not have a child with Jesus, that was a fictional book. The real Mary Magdalene died in Egypt after years of spreading the word, never left the mid-east.
And no, Mary Magdalene was not the virgin Mary, that was Jesus' mother, who was married to His father, Joseph. Mary was a very common name.

First of all, we don't know with any certainty what the rolls of the people who surrounded Jesus were. One thing we do know is that Mary Magdalene was a woman of means and she supported Jesus' ministry. Mary Magdalene seemed to be a leader of the women who were followers of Jesus Christ and would be considered on par with the apostles. It was Mary Magdalene who stood at the cross at Jesus' death and she was also the first to speak with Jesus after His Resurrection.
It was highly unlikely that she was a prostitute and no where in the bible and extra-biblical literature is it stated that she had a baby with Jesus.
The Virgin Mary is the mother of Jesus.

Err, There are at least three Mary's in the Bible. The virgin Mary would be Jesus' Mother. And she had her own children with Joseph later on anyways.
Mary Magdalene (a different mary) was prbly a hooker. But she didn't have a child with Jesus. Jesus left no children, and did not take on a wife. (Would you if you knew you'd die then put them in danger?)

The Da Vinci Code is a movie nothing more....a fictitious account based on true events. Whether Mary Magdalene was the repentant sinner ( prostitute) who washed Jesus Christ feet with her hair (Luke 7:37) is debatable. Mary Magdalene was a DISCIPLE of Christ and was among the first to bear witness to his resurrection. She is mentioned in Luke 8:2 and then again in Luke 24:1-11 as being among the women ( his mother Mary also present) who had gone to Jesus' tomb to prepare his body for burial only to find that our Lord Jesus Christ had risen from the dead.

The bible mentions another woman named Mary who was a prostitute that was not Mary Magdalene, Mary Magdalene was a follower/Apostle of Jesus there was even a gospel writen by her. My belief is the other apostle were jealous of Mary M. and her relationship with Christ, I believe the catholic church is responsible for trying to wipe out most history of Mary in order to keep women from being at the same level as men.

Whether or not she was a prostitute is still of debate.
But there's no evidence whatsoever that Jesus fathered any children, with Mary Magdalene or with any other woman.
Read slowly (I'll add extra space between the words to help out):
"The DaVinci Code" is a work of fiction.
Even the book's author and the film's makers have admitted that.
Sorry, the extra space isn't coming out on the "preview" screen. Oh well. I tried.

Mary Magdalene wasn't the Virgin Mary. They were two different people. And she absolutely did not have a child with Jesus.

mary magdalene was not the virgin mary, Jesus's mother mary was the virgin mary. There was also another mary called mary magdalene, who was a prostitute. But with my 12 years of Catholic school, they never told me Jesus had a child with anyone, but who knows, don't tell the nuns at my old school i said that. Who cares if Jesus did have a child or a wife, would that make you stop believing in him, of course not.
