I worked for a ob/gyn dr(author of several ob books) who would tell the new moms it was a boy by the heartbeat and the next week a girl he'd laugh and say when asked one way or another he was right. He said outside of a sono it was not positive. I have seen several grandparents at a nursey window saying that the sono was wrong and now the pink room was in for a change. some say if you carry the baby high or low it matters, it is your muscles and babys position they are looking at. or the ring on a string thing...Its like christmas, you can guess whats in the package, witing to for its opening or a clear boys sono is accurate.
good luck and have a babys name for both in mind.

the obvious is ultrasound but i knew the sex of bith of my children by their heart rates. Little girls heart rates are alot faster and boys a little slower. If you ask a docter they will tell you oly an ultrasound will work but sometimes the mother just knows.

An ultrasound though they are not 100% accurate. The only other way is through amniocentesis and it is accurate.
