Yes, I think they are adorable. A friend of mine had one and I used to dog sit for her when she was away. The dog was well behaved and she had the cutest little haircut...lol. She was good with kids and loved everyone.
Shi tzu's are definitely cute...lol

PLZ READ ALL OF THIS!! YES! theyre sooooooooo cute they look like lhasa apsos but not as cute. PLZ READTHE REST OF THIS!!! I hav a lhasa and he's sooooooooo cute! if yer looking 44 a dog 2 get, and yer looking 4 small dogs, i recomend lhasas (from a breeder) cuz theyre not all yappy, when they bark it sounds like a big dog so even tho it's s tiny dog if burgeler comes then he'll be scared a way by the bark (if he dusnt c the dog) and they hav very well hearing! They're originated in Thaibet and guarded the minks inside. (if the bad guys gt htru the big dogs outside, they would come inside and be scared away from the bark of the Lhasas inside). Theyre really cute, awesome and kinda smart. Theyre the bet dog 4 a person looking 4 a small good dog. :)

YES! I'm called ShihTzuLover for a reason! They have very long flowing coats that need frequent grooming or it gets matted. As for health, they easily get kidney stones and heart murmur is common. Puppies usually need Cesarean sections done due to their big heads. Exercise needs are flat lever surfaces (such as grass). Cement should be not the only exercise terrain because it causes great impact on bones and can make arthritis worse and Shih Tzus have such small bones it hurts so bad! Good luck with the 'Lion Dog' (that's their ancient Chinese name)! ^_^

I have had a shih tzu for four years and he was adorable until the last year and he has now become so aggressive if he doesn't get his own way. He has become a huge problem with my children as he thinks he is the pack leader. I am now taking him to a behaviorist.

They are cute as puppies but I personally think they grow out of that cuteness. Shitzu's tend to be possessive of one particular person and yippy. They dont react well to not getting their way, either. This is all if they are not trained properly, however. I've met many wonderfully behaved Shitzus.

I have two of them, and they are the cutest things EVER! Concider getting one. However, since there faces are so flat, they have breathing problems, but nothing serious.

well ill tell ya this. i have two and so does my mother and they are the best dogs we have ever had.they are smart,good only for kissing and petting they have no other purpose but to be pampered and look cute. so the answer is heck yeah they are. i asked them and they agree.
