If the walls are thin enough to hear them speak, if they are outside your apartment door or window, and you can hear them, do you listen? Do you let them know they can be heard?

I live too far away to eavesdrop on my neighbors' ... but when in public places, I can't help it sometimes ... Like at Starbucks when people are talking about an issue that sparks my interest ... well, my ears lift and I eavesdrop ... sometimes I interject an opinion, but most of the time, I sit and laugh to myself.

But of course, I mean if they're speaking loud enough for me to hear , what would you expect. It's like the other day, we were having a beer on the deck and this old broad came out and tripped. I said, well why don't you come over and have a bruski, she declined saying she was watching her weight and the Honeymooners had just come on. Can you beat that.

Not at all. As a matter of fact, it really annoys me when I can hear my neighbours from my home, and the last thing I'm interested in doing is eavesdropping on them. I'm more likely to just ask them to lower their voices.

I have hidden cameras all over their houses. Yes, houses. If one neighbor gets boring, I'll switch to one of the others.

I had a police scanner and I could hear all my neighbors when they were on cordless phones. Fun for awhile until my husband told me it was illegal.
