The authority is given through the calling of God; if your postulation were to be true, there would be no pastors as the Bible was written in the first century.
You are mistaken because God still reveals things to us today, but the things he reveals today do not contradict what he revealed in the past. If they did contradict, the kingdom of heaven would fall.
"Jesus knew what the Pharisees were thinking, so he said to them, 'Every kingdom that is divided against itself will be destroyed. And any city or family that is divided against itself will not continue.'"

Authority to be a pastor is not based on if your name is in the bible. Jesus had many disciples other that the 12 that followed him, but there names are not in the bible. In addition, if you read the book of Acts there were more apostles than just the 12 and Paul. You will have to go back and read the bible more thoroughly. You can identify that a man is an authority from God by the manifestation of the Holy Spirit in his life. Jesus said, in John 14:12 "Verily, verily I tell you that truth, that whosoever believeth on me that very works that I do shall he do also, and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto the Father". Jesus did not limit these works to only the 12 apostles and Paul, but He said "whosoever". Which can be anybody called by God. The supernatural works in an individual's life will validate that he or she is empowered by God.

Well the canon of Scripture was closed in 95 A.D. Math works -
Most people in the churches I have been associated with are ordained by godly men. When someone feels the call on their life they tell the church leadership. Then an ordination council is set up to 'test ' the person. After testing and the council agrees the person is then "ordained" a pastor. Then he must go to college, and after that seminary-then he becomes a preacher. In some denominations no education is required unfortunatly.

In Galatians chapter 4, it list five gifts that God gave to the church. Apostles, such as Paul, Peter, etc. is mentioned. And the names of many of them are listed in scripture. But it also says that Gid gave prophets, evangelist, pastors and teachers. They are NOT mentioned BY NAME anywhere in the Bible. Paul writes to seven churches in his letters. Each of those chruches had one (or more) pastors leading them. Can you name those people? John writes to the messengers of the seven churchs of Asian in Revelations, can you give me the names of the pastors of those churches? Nope.
So even in Bible times, there were many people with authority to preach, teach, etc. whose names are not in the Bible.
Or does that mean anyone could preach if their name happens to be Peter or Paul or John?
Get real...

In Yeshua we are all 'Priests'. Paul explains that the Lord gives giftings to different parts of the body, some as Pastors, some Apostles, some as Teachers etc...Anyone who would become a Pastor, God bless them, it is a very stressful job, for sure. The name 'Paul' is not his Hebrew name Saul, and was not in the Word until he began to write his letters.

The scriptures tell us that certain people are called to the ministry, given by the authority of the church, which is the body of Christ, whose name is in the Bible.

The Apostles were in a council In Jerusalem, Paul was the only Apostle that was traveling and, ordaining, consecrating, appointing, and I don't read where a Apostle or Prophet, was directly leading a Church
“The churches of Asia greet you, especially Aquila and Priscilla greet you much in the Lord, along with the church that is in their house.” I Cor 16:19 – Paul says he wrote to the Ephesians from Corinth in I Cor 16:8
“Greet the brethren in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in her house.” Col 4:15
“Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon…and to the church in your house..”
Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus…Likewise greet the church that is in their house.” Romans 16:3, 5
