Of course we did. we just don't remember 'cause life is a test to get back to our Heavenly Father. If we knew all the answers to the "test" then how could we learn? In Genesis it says that we were created in His own image (His spiritual image) then it says that he created Man from the Earth and then Woman from Man.
We did or at one time lived with our Earthly parents then why wouldn't we live with our Heavenly parents before we came down to Earth?

We did not live with God before we came to earth. We were created by God to live on earth, but we did not dwell him in a prior state.

Do you think WE could understand everything about THE 'creation' in 80y? If Eternity is forever, what is 80y...A DREAM? Then this life is a dream and when you awaken wouldn't this question seem obvious?
