I'm 19 and I am single. I can't seem to find a guy that wants more than sex. And Im definately not easy. I think I have good qualities. I respect guys, Im not jealous, I dont sleep around, I'm not clingy, I'm fun, I give all my attention...... So why is it so hard for me to find a guy that likes me....and I like back? I've had "things" with a lot of different guys...but never a real relationship. Guys are only physically attracted to me.

Some men (like me) Want someone who will deeply and closely love them. And show very sensual affection. It helps them feel needed, and want to be needed. If sensual affection is shown as well as serious verbal interactions i believe that an intellectual relationship WILL sprout..

Why are you in such a hurry? You just said you've had "things' with a number of guys. Despite your claim to the contrary, that indicates that either you are, maybe too readily induced to "get serious" - i.e. get horizontal - or you're perhaps clingy and demanding after all. It is not easy to see ourselves as others see us, 'cause that giftie is decidedly an endangered species lately.
Other thing: 19 really is a touch young to worry about long-term relationships, especially on the part of guys. A hundred years ago, economics and social expectations forced men and women into marriage much sooner. Women were decidedly on the losing side of that: you wouldn't want to have to go back and spend your life as a woman in the Victorian era!

Nowadays you don't have to depend on a man. That's good. But when you start thinking "maybe I'd like to find me a husband", you'll find that not many modern men, at 19 or 20, are all that eager to settle down. For guys, it's "how many pairs of pants can I get into without getting trapped in marriage?" But by age 25, mens' attitudes really begin to change and mature. That might be something you should consider: date men a few years older than yourself. And of course, consider the class of guy you date. Bar-hopping cowboys are fun, but the kind of guy you might meet at a swing-dance club will tend to be more the settled type. Bikers seem to get all the adventurous girls, but y'wanna know how many such adventurous girls I've met who, after a few years' ridin' behind those leather jackets and chaps, find themselves sitting on the curb wondering why the heck he's abandoned them? Yo - 'way too many, that's how many! Biker Bad Boy done found himself a tight, new, younger biker babe! Uh - oh!
So: are you one of those unfortunate ladies who's been there and done that? Know what? It's not the end of the world. There really are decent, caring men out there who also want a real treasure like you! It just takes some time to recognize her among all the competition...and yeah, the competition: you do know there're more women out there looking for guys than the other way around, don't you? That just means it can take a bit longer to find the guy you're going to grow old with. Keep looking! You'll find each other!

Alright heres the real scoop as best I know to answer you. Men want a woman alot like their mother. Meaning, Someone that will love them no matter what wrong they have done or do, UNCONDITIONAL love that last forever and into the next life. Like a mother does her son. We also want great sex. The old saying, a lady in public but a whore in the bed. I know this is hard to accept but if you can find a middle ground you are willing to do then you can truely keep a guy forever.

Let me guess, you are probably beautiful, have a great body, and drive a real nice little car right? You need to quit looking at only the hottest most cocky guys out there. The hot guys tend to be all about themselves. All guys want sex, but the average to good looking ones are decent men. Not all but most. You probably intimidate the nicer guys because they feel like they are out of your league. Quit dating the best looking ones and go for the ones that arent quite as hot or that dont have the hottest bnodies out there. It will make a difference!

Well of course this is coming from a 14 year old but still. Yes men today all they want is sex. I think thats wrong. If you want to be with someone you learn to love them and dont just want sex. Im sure you are a great person and one day you will find the right person!
