My grandfather was in WWII, he was in the Army Air Force flying in a B-17 G. Does anyone have any pictures of B-17 or any interesting facts?? I am working on a project for him. His plane was the Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby

Check ebay, you can find all sorts of original WW2 pictures.

But in the mean time, you might find this interesting:

It was found in France returned to us & restored. It is at Dover Air Force Base.
Look at USAF Museum Air Power Gallery
Cool pictures & information
Just type in Shoo Shoo Baby Airplane on Google

Good luck!

a great book is Half a Wing Three Engines and a Prayer by Brian O'Neal. It's a book BY B-17 Pilots and it is THEIR story of the bombing runs.

Also, look up the Collings foundation, they have a flying B-17 along with some other really great WWII aircraft. The Smithsonian is a great resource also.
