No, it is never too late to train a dog, but the training will include you and often its harder to train people in doing the right behaviors.

No, you should take him to a trainer or a behavior class if you feel it's getting really bad. My beagle is 4 and we trained him and he did not have a hard time with it.

if the shih tzu is keep acting bad you have to put him or her in his or her cage or give him a small hit ethier that or take away shis or her toy s or if he or her does another thing bad try not to play with him or her for a day

not to late to teach good manners! mite be tough but you have to be consistent w/your responses to his behaviors. never hit, reward the good and check out a training course.

no... it's not too late but it will be hard for them to get it in their head that now they have to act like this! it will take a while but i don't think it is a lost cause!
