how do you let a guy know that you care? i don't want to sound stupid because we are good friends but i want to get the point across that i really care, how?

oh yah. he has told me that he liked me but we are both afraid to make the first move.

Listen to him. What does he want, or need from you? Sometime all a man wants is some peace and quiet, or a sandwich... yes we are that simple sometimes. Don't be overly dramatic when you ask him, that just seems phoney, or like you are expecting something. Just tell him casually "You know I care about you, right?" You could even start off joking, "You know I got your back Papa?" Then be more serious by saying, "No, really though, I'm there for you." Those are some good ways, that will make you look sincere.

You take him some place nice, sit him down hold his hand and say something like " you know how we get along so well and enjoy doing things together and all? Well, I am finding that I care for you a lot more than just a friend, and I want us to be a couple, would that be OK with you?"
And you cross your fingers and hope he feels the same way, if he does or does not, I think he will tell you, and you will have your answer either way.

Honestly the best way is to just be honest and admit to him that you like him as more than a friend, you might be suprised cause he may actually feel the same way. If you are a little too shy for this approach, you can always show him you care by throwing little hints. Like sitting extra close, and rubbing his neck, winking at him for no reason, making comments like "I wish you were my bf": If he's alert he'll pick up on it.

If you are there for him all the time he should know. Unless he is very clueless. Plus, tell the guy that you care that would be the only way to get your point across. Be truth to him, and he will know believe me he will know.

Try to bring up the subject in a way that won't scare him. If this guy is a good friend then don't push it. Good friends are hard to come by and you wouldn't want to ruin your friendship because he doesn't feel the same way you do.

Just be direct and to the point.
Try This:
"I LIKE YOU AND I JUST WANTED TO KNOW IF YOU WANTED TO GO OUT SOMETIME, JUST THE 2 OF US?"
That is depending on how old you are.

let him no that you care about him. dont keep it inside everyone likes to hear nice things. something could happen any moment and you might not be able to tell him ever again

when you talk with a guy take care of whats he's saying..listen to him carefully and ask question like what, why, how..etc
this will create impression in his mind that you care about what he is saying...
