Here's just a few:

Patsy Sherman invented Scotchgard

Stephanie Louise Kwolek invented a material five times stronger than steel called Kevlar.

Margaret Knight was an employee in a paper bag factory when she invented a new machine part to make square bottoms for paper bags. Knight can be considered the mother of the grocery bag, she founded the Eastern Paper Bag Company in 1870.

Amanda Theodosia Jones re-invented American food production by inventing vacuum packed canning.

Mary Phelps Jacob invented the bra

Erna Schneider Hoover invented the computerized telephone switching system.

Grace Hopper was a computer inventor best known for the Mark computer series.

Dorothy Crowfoot Hodgkin used x-rays to find the structural layouts of atoms and to discover the overall molecular shape of over 100 molecules including: penicillin, vitamin B-12, vitamin D and insulin.

Elizabeth Hazen co-invented Nystatin, the world's first useful antifungal antibiotic.

Bette Nesmith Graham invented liquid paper, also known as White-Out.

Helen Free was the inventor of the home diabetes test.

Marie Curie also known as Madame Curie discovered radium and furthered x-ray technology.

The convenient disposable diaper was invented by New Yorker Marion Donovan in 1950.

Gertrude Belle Elion invented the leukemia-fighting drug 6-mercaptopurine, drugs that facilitated kidney transplants and other drugs for the treatment of cancer and leukemia.

And there are tons more out there I'm sure.

Most of these I'm sure you'd agree are pretty damn useful.

A lot of women invented a lot of things. There may have been mostly men inventing things but, don't know if you knew this, most of the men with the useful inventions were married. Hmmm, wonder if that's a coincidence. Well anyway, I can't remember all the stuff invented by women but the bullet proof vest was. Men invent useless things too. In fact, there are more useless than useful inventions.
And Mike Nesmith's(Monkees) mum invented tip-ex. I guess she was a woman and I bet you must have needed that a few times with all of your spelling and grammatical mistakes.

ALL inventions made by a man are NOT useful, and a woman could have invented things for century but no one would ever let that happen back in the time of Edison and Einstein. If you really care, read Virginia Wolf's a room of ones own and it will explain it all. As for your question here you go:

Circular saw - Tabitha Babbitt
Dishwasher - Josephine Cochran
Electric hot water heater - Ida Forbes
Engine muffler - El Dorado Jones
Kevlar, a steel-like fiber used in radial tires, crash helmets, and bulletproof vests - Stephanie Kwolek
Medical syringe - Letitia Geer
Rotary engine - Margaret Knight
Submarine lamp and telescope - Sarah Mather
Windshield wiper - Mary Anderson

I am not going to continue and type them all out... ask a woman how to do some research and you could answer your own question.

This strikes me as a very misogynist question. I think you should rethink your position about women. Seriously.

Actually, there are many clever women out there who invent things all the time. Perhaps those things are just not marketed in such a way that draws your attention to them. I suspect if you look around your house you will see many objects that were invented by women, even if you didn't realize it.

I hope you didn't mean to come across as sexist as you sound. Women have actually made many contributions in both useful devices and science. Especially when you consider women have until fairly recent times considering the course of all human history been limited to traditional sex roles. Women weren't encouraged to enter professions outside the home and only allowed to vote since 1920. Nevertheless, here are a few contributions selected at random:

Hypatia- Head of the Library at Alexandria and inventor of several tools: an instrument for distilling water, an instrument to measure the specific gravity of water, an astrolabe and a planisphere.

Marie Curie
She won the Nobel prize twice, first in 1903 (jointly with her husband, and with Henri Becquerel) for the discovery of radium and polonium, and again (by herself) in 1911 for the isolation of pure radium.

chemist (1920 - 1957) Dr. Patricia Bath, an ophthalmologist from New York, but living in Los Angeles when she received her patent, became the first African American woman doctor to receive a patent for a medical invention. Patricia Bath's patent (no. 4,744,360), a method for removing cataract lenses, transformed eye surgery, using a laser device making the procedure more accurate.

Rosalind Franklin received her degree in Chemistry in 1951 from Cambridge University. It was while working as a research associate for James Randall at King's College that she was the first to recognize the helix shape of DNA.

Josephine Cochran - Inventor of the Dishwasher
In 1850, Joel Houghton patented a wooden machine with a hand-turned wheel that splashed water on dishes, it was hardly a workable machine, but it was the first patent. In 1886, Josephine Cochran proclaims in disgust "If nobody else is going to invent a dishwashing machine, I'll do it myself." And she did, Josephine Cochran invented the first practical (did the job) dishwasher. Josephine Cochran had expected the public to welcome the new invention, which she unveiled at the 1893, World's Fair, but only the hotels and large restaurants were buying her ideas. It was not until the 1950s, that dishwashers caught on with the general public. Josephine Cochran's machine was a hand-operated mechanical dishwasher. She founded a company to manufacture these dish washers, which eventually became KitchenAid.

I'm sure that the grammatical errors in your question are preventing me from understanding what information you are seeking. That is to say, I hope that I have misunderstood the question.
If I've got it right, then you're basically stating that women are of no use, and have lent no contribution to the advancement of mankind. Then my answer is this, do your own homework, or continue to live in ignorance, and the next time someone close to you undergoes diagnostic testing instead of exploratory surgery, you can thank Madame Curie's husband for allowing her to tinker around in his lab, and take credit for what was obviously his work, because after all, she was merely a useless woman.......
Good luck.

You've not heard of Marie Curie then?
Try to remember that up until 50 years ago women were not afforded the same rights to education, promotion, rights etc as has benefitted men over the last 2000 years. That considered it is absolutely amazing that they have managed to achieve so much over the last half a century or so! I know you're just trying to stir people up by being antagonostic but have a look at the 20th century please!
Anyway, until you can squeeze something the size of a melon out of something as big as a peach............xx
