Depends what terms you're talking about
Value: Chevy
Resale Value: Toyota
Dependability: Close but Toyota by a little
Performance: Chevy
Style: Neither really but I suppose I'd take a Chevy's looks over Toyota
Comfort: Chevy
Fit and Finish: Toyota

There is no question here. Out of the two choices you gave you should get a toyota. They are a lot more reliable. Yes they cost more but the difference will be made up for in maitnence cost . If you look into toyota you should also look at honda. They are both very similar and very good companies. Personally i think toyota has better SUVS and honda has better passenger cars.

Speaking from experience I would say with hands down CHEVY, they are I think the best cars out there, I have a chevy cavalier and its runs great !!! So, if u do decide to go with chevy make sure u have a mechanic look at it, u would do that with any car .

well I'm an apprentice mechanic and so far it has been my experience that they last about the same time/miles and get about the same mpg rating however Chevy cars to me are more comfortable and generally have more power easily accessible to the rear wheels when needed where is Toyota has about half of the horsepower and barely enough torque to make it worth your while
so in short GET A CHEVY
