Mohammed (pbuh) body is in his grave. The grave is located beside his mosque in the city of Medina in Saudia Arabia.

Buried just like any other man in Saudi Arabia under his last wife Aisha house.
Today it is the Mosque of the Prophet in Medina.

He was buried in his wifes house that is now the Prophets mosque.
He was human so all that happened to his body is what happens to every human body, it decayed away. May allah rest his soul in peace.

FYI; prophets do exist today.
I would assume Mohammed's body simply went the way of all mortal bodies...ashes to ashes; dust to dust.

First of all, he wasn't a prophet of God. Therefore, he decomposed like every other dead body.

They say he died at home, quietly, in his wife's arms. His followers then buried him in his own home, on the very spot he died; apparently the prophet had requested at some point in his life to be buried on the exact spot of his death.

How racist answers. No one knows, because no one saw inside his tomb in Saudi Arabia (In his wife's house). But I think his body decayed, but God preserved his Honorable soul.
