I see that as giving in and accepting being fat, but I'm not motivated to lose weight. I feel stuck and really stupid right now.

Any advice? Should I buy fat clothes anyway? What do you think?

Please no smart ********* comments. I'm serious, here.

how about..moving around, get some exercise and eat right if you are uncomfortable with your weight.

its a pain in the ***, but its the only way.

unless you cheat and take drugs, which is worse than giving in, thats just giving up,

Dear Just Me,
Please don't take this as a smart remark by any means because I am painfully familiar with this subject and it is described as denial. You are unfortunately caught in a catch 22 because you are not motivated to do something about it but refuse to accept the extra weight. The only advice I can give is to tell you to buy a couple items that are comfortable and know that clothing that is too tight is not attractive in fact makes weight gain more apparent, and do like I do park further away so you walk a little more don't eat after 6pm and if you drink or have an on going passion for sweets or any kind of fast food like french fries cut back because they are not your friends, especially fast food I gave it up all together and lost 10lbs without even trying. A little bit of walking can go a long ways. I wish you the best of luck and stay on top of it now before it becomes a problem later.

Can you spend some money and get new clothes ... If yes do that. It 'll free your mind for the time being and you'll get controll over it as you 've already given in to fact that you've put on weight. Once you accept that make effort to reduce weight if you want to reduce with understanding that its for your lean body that you wannna work. The motivation is always from inside .its more of self reliance. Its also a result of concious and clear thinking without losing head over the un wanted or bad thoughts. You think cohesively and intently about what you intend to do. and think and think and then plan with resolve. You'll succeed . Out best wishes with you. Bless you .Be motivated.

Nothing's wrong with you. Put on some sweatpants and get comfy. They don't cost a lot, either. Just cut out junk food for now and walk at least a half hour each day. You do this and after a week or so, you'll be walking for more than a half hour. Eat regular food, but no junk - (cake, chips, cookies, ice cream, candy, fast food). Drink more water (keep it in the fridge) and drink diet soda if you MUST have soda. Real juice instead of kool aid. Small steps for now, but stick with it. You will gradually get more energy and want to get more exercise. Getting started is the hard part.

Nothing is wrong with you! Sometimes women measure their esteem in whichever size pants, dress, or shirt they are wearing. By wearing clothes appropriate for your body- you are not accepting the weight gain, you are simply allowing yourself to be comfortable and able to breathe in your jeans.
For the time being-- I would buy clothes that fit you, and cut the tags out. Save all of the clothes that are your "acceptable" size. Begin doing whatever it is that you are going to do to lose the weight (gym, dieting etc..) and use your old clothes as a measurement... when you fit back into them, give the "unacceptable" sized clothes to someone who needs them!!

You have a big butt, don´t seek help, it won´t provide. Eat alright, you will gain some extra pounds and strenght. In three or four months you will want to lose some, better buy clothes somewhere else and avoid being observed while shopping around, that should be a pleasure alright. Also try bigger sizes right from the start, dont be intimidated or allured around employees, they will mostly care for paychecks and kindness around you. Shop big and eat more, your partner will like your image, that is for sure.

Nothing is wrong with you but one way or another, the issue will settle itself. If you keep gaining weight, you will eventually not fit into the pants forcing you to buy a larger size. Or, you will lose the weight and not have to worry about fitting into them. If you are really uncomfortable in your current pants, then you need to decide which direction you want to go.

Everything we think and therefore do, is rooted into o0ur belief system. You see yourself in the mirror and are -I assume- depressed. Depressed, hence low, hence de-motivated and lazy.

A slippery slope for sure. Been there done that. You need to BELIEVE in personal growth, which is born out of discipline.

IOW, we make choice every minute of every day. If you are in this spot may well be because of bad choices, or by making NO choice at all, or DEFAULT, which paradoxically is a choice itself.

You need to kind of "fall in love" with YOU. Not narcisistically, but in the sense of RESPECTING and taking care of your heath, which imcludes portion management, calorie count, the lot.

There's no other way.

I lost 35 lbs once I learned how. I used to hate the roly poly fellow in the mirror. There's NO SUBSTITUTE feeling happy and in shape.

I've gained weight too. I just got some more pants in a bigger size, and now that I look a little more presentable, I feel more motivated to exercise more so that I can look and feel better. Good Luck to you!

everyone gains weight, and if you wear pants that don't fit you, it will make you look fatter. Get pants that are your size and don't be stubborn about it. Lose some weight, and get back into the clothes that used to fit you, its not that hard. Being stubborn and buying clothes that don't fit you is a waste of money and stupidity especially if you never manage to lose weight.

Without motivation to lose weight you have to buy new clothes. What other choice would you have. It's either upgrade in clothing size, or hit the treadmill. Spandex is another option since you can use it for longer periods of body growth.
