I used to let guys buy me drinks all the time. What your asking doesn't matter because guys think that as soon as a female walks in a bar she's looking to get laid so, hey ,let them buy you drinks ,save your money ,and leave without them

There is nothing exactly wrong with it but I would be sure if he is just a nice guy and wants someone to talk with or if he is trying to establish a basis to move forward into really getting to know you. I usually refuse the drink but talk to them if I like them. You can always reciprocate by sending him a drink with a message "Thank You, you are a nice person but I am involved with someone".

A drink is just a drink - It's NOT an invitation if it's accepted. Although, you should be up front and honest with him if conversation follows. Let him know that you appreciate the drink, and that you have a boyfriend.

It's wrong. If I man buys a woman a drink and she accepts, why won't she accept 2 or more drinks. And we know what happens with women and alcohol.

If he's a friend, no, it isn't wrong but if you don't know him tell him it isn't necessary. If you say that you are not out looking to hook up that you have a boyfriend and he still insists on buying you that drink, accept graciously and watch to make sure he puts nothing in it.

I always tell them, "Well, I have a boyfriend whom I am very happy with, but if you still want to buy me a drink, go for it, pal! I'll drink it!" As long as you don't flirt with him and are straight up with him, then who cares? No foul, no harm....

Not if you tell them what you just told us - that you'd accept it under the condition that you weren't interested in a relationship because you were in a committed and happy one. But alcohol dulls the brain so maybe its best to avoid it altogether.

It is wrong. It is leading him on and making him think that you are available. It is also disrespectful to the guy in your relationship.
