If you are thinking of buying a used vehicle, you need CarFax Vehicle History Report which is done by entering the VIN number. If the car has been wrecked and salvaged, in a flood, fire, etc. a CarFax report will show it and you can avoid getting stung.
CarFax has a fee for checking. You can get unlimited VIN checks for about $25 and it is well worth the price to save you from grief.A single check is about $20 so unlimited is the way to go as you may be looking at a number of vehicles before you buy.

$4500 -5500 but how many miles are on it and why are they fixing up the exterior and interior when its such an old car? To mask some other problem and get more money. Why are they selling it if they just fixed it up? Don't forget to check the carfax report. There are laws to protect you from buying a lemon. Good luck!

I would pay between 5000 to 6000. 88 is getting a lot older, and if you pay to much, then well, thats stupid.

depends on the condition of the car. also the mileage on the car. probably 3500 would be as hi as i would go. if the car has anything special on it then maybe a couple hundred more.

I live in Bavaria, Germany, where BMW's are made! I wouldn't buy one of thoses! They look... SO common in Germany!
