Frankly, I find some of these answers repulsive. I mean, I don't know your grandfather but my grandfather would not want some of the things listed.
Anyways, Have you tried surfing the net? You can find all sorts of fishing gadgets and stuff at numerous places online. If all else fails my gradfather enjoys the simple things like visiting with family and having his favorite meal.
Does he like seafood? take him to a nice resaurant for the night, or book a fishing trip.
I hope you can decide on something. Just remember, he would probably cherish spending time with those he loves.

A new boat and fishing equipment. Since he loves it so much then make his gift something that has to do with fishing. You could get him personalized fishing gear; a hat, a vest, some pants (with your initials or some nice words, ect. printed on it by a professional). There are many things you could get him. Use your creative genius! YOU CAN DO IT!
