Sure it could be recycled. Some toilet paper is already made from recycled products. Too much waste going on around the world.

Some places over seas still use whatever they can as toilet paper. Rocks, leaves, moss. With all the junk snail mail and newspaper flyer's being used everyday, it should all be made into toilet paper, and sold at reasonable price.

Chances are toilet paper is already composed of recycled paper. Paper can only be recycled so many times and everytime it gets recycled the paper quality is degraded. By the time it gets turned into toilet paper the quality of paper is so low it cannot be made into anything else.

I don't think that it is a good idea to reuse. I don't think that it will get rid of all the fecal matter just by rinsing it. If you wash it in the washer I don't think that it would be very sanitary. If you are really worried about it maybe not even use TP do like they used to do before there was TP a rock or some kind of leaf maybe even cut up some towels and use those. I'm sure that could be washed and sanitized. Just make sure you have TP for your guest non recycled please.

Yuck, gross! The whole idea of disposable toilet pater to to flush all the germs safely away! If you want to save trees, don't use paper at all. Wash with water and dry off with a cloth towel, like people did before toilet paper was invented and like many poor 3rd world people do today.

We do. When you flush the toilet the waste goes to the wastewater treatment plant. During the first process at the plant the solids are settled out. Those solids then go to a digester where they are eaten by little bugs. The solids that come from the digester are mixed with wood chips to make mulch which you can buy and put on your garden.

Sure. A process has been invented. All you have to do is collect it from your toilet and then mail them a trash bag full. You must use your hands to gather it though. Anything else will cause the paper to rip.

Toilet paper is one area where I do not wish to see any break-through technology.

Yes, save all your used paper, put it in a plain brown envelope and send it to the government, no need to put a stamp or return address
