Sounds like you are more than tired. If you have chronic fatigue, go see a doctor. You need to look at your diet. If you eat a lot of sugar, this could be the cause. Eat healthier. Also, do you get enough exercise? The more you exercise, the more alert and awake you will feel during the day. If you work in an office (like me), try having a cold glass of water at your desk. Drink it every so often to keep you awake. Take breaks away from your desk. Get up and stretch your limbs. Listen to music if you can. If all else fails, have a half of a cup of coffee (but not every day as you may become addicted). Hope that helps.

Keep busy by surfing the net, do Y!A, clean up or straighten out some cabinets in the kitchen area or copy room, re-arrange your desk so it feels different, offer your help to someone around the office, file, talk on the phone....if I think of anything else I'll come back and add 'em.

you may have a medical condition that is causing you to not feel rested. you need to see a doctor to rule out any medical reasons for your fatigue. to help you stay awake at work, try walking during your breaks, drink plenty of water, and eat fresh fruits, vegies, and proteins throughout the day. take time to stretch. at night, go to sleep the same time everyday, even on your days off, and awaken the same time as well. make exercise an every day routine as it gets your blood moving to transport more oxygen to your brain. eat healthy and eliminate junk foods; they just make you feel sluggish.

Coffee will only help if used properly. Strip naked and poor hot coffee all over yourself. Scream like bloody murder so everyone will come running to see what happened. If you still fall asleep then go see a doctor.

exercise a half hour each day, concentrating on cardiovascular exercise. try to do it right before you shower for work.
your energy will go up much higher, and your blood will be pumping when you get there.
if you get tired at work, strech for 10 and stay away from coffee, you will crash harder. drink lots of water.

Exercise when you're not at work. Go for a walk every day or evening. Anything physical will give you extra energy.
