Absolutely not. We love in different ways. I have three daughters, but I love all of them differently. Each one of them is an individual, and they have unique qualities that I love about each of them - it's just expressed differently. My oldest may be jealous of the youngest, but I still love her, as well.

On the other hand, if the mother is a total dead-beat (like some of them are), then it's possible that she may not love one or all of her children. But I think that is rare. Even in circumstances where women give their children up for adoption, etc., I still believe that there is love there. It may not seem like it. But the same mother who gave the child up for adoption may be creating a better life for the child.

i personaly love and treat all my children equaly..ive know some woman not to love there children because they were bad. or caused them problems why growing up. ive heard them say oh boys are more loving..they often use the verb...you dont have to love a child but you can like one...every parent is different, every child is different you cannot judge a child by another sibbling because they all grow with there own personalities. its a game of give and take..women fetch children into this life they must do there best to stand by them and do all they can for them. its a hard fact but a true one.

I think that a very messed up parent can,but a "normal" parent usually doesnt. I thought was in a situation like this, but when it comes down to it,most parents love all their children equally.Step or not step. If this is happening to you, then ask your parents this answer, and ask them if they love you. The answer will be yes!

yes! My mom loved my brother more than me and she took every opportunity to show it.But it made me a better mother to my children! I didn't love any one any more than the other.I made sure that each child knew I was proud of them for their own accomplishments and that every persons desires are different, therefore each will accomplish different things in life. What ever a persons passion is,that's what they will work at to achieve!

I think they can. My mom loves my little sister more then she loves my older sister and me because my little sister is hers and my step fathers. It sucks but it happens. We just have to move on.

I don't think they should because it's not fair to the others.
