Unless you are an American Indian or descendant of one, everyone in this country was an immigrant or descendant of one.
Illegal immigrants should be sent back to where they came from. They want a better life, then let them earn the right to live and work here. There are enough free loaders in this country without adding illegals to the mix.

First, when you come into a country you have to obey that country's laws. No one is saying the person is illegal. That arguement has no relevency to this issue.
Your first question is about immigrants. Most people are immigrants to this country, and I have nothing against immigrants who enter legally. Those who enter legally follow procedure, wait for their green card, take their citizenship exams, and learn English! Now if you want to cross the border, or fly in from China or another country, please don't expect those of us who are working hard to pay for you using welfare. Get a job and get in the back of the line.

I have no problem with immigration, thats what practically made The UNITED States of America, but I do have a big problem with illegal immigration. They get many benefits for being illegal, that we as LEGAL citizens don't get. Also it would leave another opportunity for terrorists. They need to go back, and if they want to live here, do it legally and learn English!!!

I live in New York and it is always a beautiful thing to be surrounded by so many cultures and nationalities.I am for immigration.In essence we all are immigrants here in New York! I am against illegal immigration however. No one should be allowed to stay in the country if they did so illegally.Its unfair to the people who did follow the rules.It is also a threat to our country for obvious reasons.

If it were possible to "turn the tide" as they say against illegal aliens, and send them all back to Mexico (where most come from), then I would be in favor of that. However, that isn't going to happen. It isn't practical or possible. So the best thing to do is add another state to the Union. Mexico. They all want to be here, so let's make it to our advantage. By annexing Mexico we give them what they want and allow them to have the rights of citizenship. But we get their taxes and will find it easier to enforce our laws, induce them to learn English, etc.

I feel that if your a legal immigrant its fine as long as you speak or are willing to learn to speak English, if not then go back where you came from.
If your here illegally then yes get out and don't be allowed to come back.

The government shouldn't even think about letting Illegal immigrants stay.. What dont people get about ILLEGAL immigrants? Legal immigrants are fine. I have respect for them. They waited and did it legally and should be able to stay

I think the world would be a much nicer place without borders, just one big country called Earth.
I know this will never happen, but I still like the idea.
