My boyfriend and I have been together a year and are serious with one another. He recently graduated college and just got a job starting his career at the local airport working in the air traffic tower. I am extremely happy for him and don't at all expect him to call me when he works during the day. However, he's also keeping his other job and says its only for one more month during the summer and that hell be done by the fourth of July with it. (He works at a pool store) That job is almost finished but hes starting side jobs cleaning pools after working these 16 hour days! I am EXTREMELY unhappy because he is seeing me less and less. When we're together everything is great! But as soon as I start talking about whats been going on and how I'm feeling he just changes the subject and brushes me off! What should I do? Is he ignoring me on purpose? Is he secure with me that he thinks I'll stay with him no matter what? Is this a test? Help!

We're also both 22 and he told me he's saving for a house for us and that he wished that I would just respect what he's doing and that he hoped that all of his hard work would "inspire me." I asked him what he meant by that and he said he meant by working more. BTW= I work a full time job and do ALOT of overtime on the weekends. What more dopes he want and is he telling me what to do? Or is this a test to see if I'll stick around? I'm fed up and I'm starting to stray! Help!

Are you kidding me? You have a dude who is working his butt off to save for a house, and a RING, i'm sure, and your future, and your complaining he is working to much? Do you have any idea how much a decent house costs, and down payments, and the list is endless about how expensive it is to start a new life? Right now is the time to work your butt off while you are still young and able to do so! There are so many girls in your position that would love a guy to be doing all that for her. You are lucky and need to stop complaining. I bet when he puts a fat rock on your hand you won't be complaining then. Then you will move on to how much you can spend on your wedding and you will be wondering where the money is going to come from. If you keep nagging him, I can gaurantee he will drop you and find someone who WILL support him in his work.
It's not a test, he is who he is. If you can't take it, then break it off and let him be with someone who will support him and be happy with him, and secure.
Sounds like you need a man that works 8-5 Monday thru friday and lives to wait for you!

now you can relate to somebody who is sacrificing there life in war just to save you. This can be a danger for himself and his health. Just working too much for a goal that he has established is positive, but what is the negative thing is that he is affecting everybody around him, mostly you too. He is not taking his time to relax or anything, he is just like the guy determined to reach even if the means of sacrificing himself or his friends and family surrounding him. Of course it is affecting your relationship with him, this is not a test nor anything you might think of. He is basically determined to reach that goal.Just like a soldier who is saving a life regardless the danger and fear. This is the early sign that he will be working for the rest of his life. He will be all caught up on work and making you happy when he doesn't realize that, you are with him makes him happy. You should tell him to quit the cleaning job and tell him not to rush in his life or else he will miss out a lot in life. Over doing that is not healthly. Though I have not explained further in this situation. If you need more info just contact me.

girl leave him for a lil while, im not sayinf=g break up just back up and if your serious about him you ill trust him about him working to save for a house. Just when he gets home and is in a grubby mood just wait till he calms down, bring him a beer and ask how his day was and if he seems really upset leave him for an hour or so then go to him and say...'honey i appreciate it that you are trying to sace up for us for our future but i feel like im losing you in kind of a way, what do you suggest we do about it?' say it in a calming voice and dont raise your voice as he will get really upset and could lead to a breakup.... good luck...

you ought to deal with this by making use of calming down. you ought to not attempt to get her fired. i do no longer even comprehend the variety you will try this except you defame her character (wherein case she ought to sue you). Please flow away the adverse woman on my own. She hasn't truly executed something incorrect. She's probable no longer doing this on purpose. I doubt she's attempting to thieve your guy. I propose you 2 have been at the same time for 2 years. i think of she's probable gotten over this guy in over 2 years. besides in case you're so insecure approximately your relationship you probable should not be making plans on getting married.
