Ok, I know that I am probably going to get slammed here, but I have an explanation, here it is: Women who have abortions who try to have a baby later on, typically find it very hard to carry the baby. And women that have had more than one abortion, most likely will NEVER be able to carry a baby. I am not saying ALL, there are people I am sure that has successfully had kids after an abortion. But, for the many women who found that they couldn't, isn't that like a punishment from God, for murdering one child? It's like they were entrusted with one baby and they killed it, why would they be entrusted with another one?

ok, I have gotten some good answers. Some people have said look at it medically. Yes, I have, but if God created us, then doesn't He know how our bodies are going to react and stuff. I mean, I know that I am probably not explaining it right, but no matter if you look at it medically or not, it could still be because of God. And for those people who tell me not to judge, I can say the same thing to you.

You are right! Many on here don't want to believe that God has control of our lives, so they try to live in denial. There are consequences to what we do and we will be responsible for our actions here and after we die. No escape for George W. or any of us.

I see those calling you judgmental, but one needs to know the law and what will happen here and hereafter. That is not judgmental it is just the truth.

God doesn't 'punish' anyone. He is not cruel or evil. This concept is created by people who want to control other people.
Abortion doesn't affect future fertility. It is a myth created by anti-abortion people.
There have been people who have had 10 abortions and still had children...there is no scientific proof that --- women that have had more than one abortion, most likely will NEVER be able to carry a baby. I don't know where you got that from.
People who have abortions are not child haters. They have abortion for various reasons...you cannot generalize the reasons and call them murderers.
Abortions is done in early stages of pregnancy, so even without having had the abortion, they might have had miscarriages. Those are things you will never know.
Most people who have abortion, put off having baby until very late in life --- that is why it may be harder.
It is better to have a child you would love to have and be able to take care of them than bring to life a child you may resent and bring about all these pschyopaths running around -- born to kids who were too young to know what they were doing.

If you believe that God punishes YOU for every nasty little thing YOU do then I guess you already know the answer.
I would like to point out that there are a lot of women who have never had an abortion who end up being physically incapable of becoming pregnant. What do you think THEY did to deserve the "punishment"?
I also am unaware of any statistics stating that women have more issues with becoming pregnant because they've previously had an abortion than those who have not previously had an abortion.
Do you have any informational sources from which you drew your conlusion?

What about all the women who have never had an abortion and still can't conceive? What are they being punished for?
If it makes you feel better think of an abortion as a sacrifice to god. Wasn't gonna gonna make Abraham sacrifice Isaac? I know he stopped him but think of these women as making the ultimate sacrifice to god. They are giving up their unborn child to god, you can't get much more honorable than that. Can you? These women aren't sinners they simply love the lord. Didn't god send his only son to die for our sins? Noone says god aborted Jesus now do they? These women should be allowed to send their chindren off in the same spirit that god sent Jesus.

Its no wonder people can't have another after all THAT has gone on inside them.
Its not God punishing women for the act - they will have to answer for that soon enough - if it was then every woman who aborted would surely receive the same punishment. God is afterall just and righteous - not biased.

I believe this is all circumstantial...if the girl is raped then technically that's an evil committed which should be made right...that baby could be the mark of the devil. But if she willingly has sex, then she killed it because it was a gift from god. Also, I knew a girl that had 3 abortions and got pregnant just fine before she was even 19...which is really sad to hear, but it's true.

I would guess that God punishes for this. People that support abortions have no respect for life. I know lots of women who considered abortion because they were afraid they couldn't manage or were afraid to tell their parents. The ones that decided not too are so happy they didn't. Things have worked out wonderfully for them. I have, as you, noticed the opposite case with women who have had abortions. I feel horrible for them though because they feel horrible about it and I hate to see people suffer. I assume God feels the same way but is more concerned about us learning lessons we need to learn.

IN the bible there are many occuriences where abortions are ok by GOD. Its Cristian doctrine about abortions not GOD's idea.
THere are many cases when abortions should be performed. I guess if few guys( not even your color) will rape you ( just as cruel example) and you have even a slight idea who the father is. I would want to see that you would love keep the baby. The are many more cases. You can't just summarize everything under one case.
And one wuick note. IN the lovely BIble GOD asking for children sacrifice ( and he also did to his own son) do you really think GOD is agaisnt abortions?

You ask questions that only GOD can answer.
Only GOD can define abortion as murder because murder is the killing of an 'independent' life not a dependent one. Our society finds it perfectly acceptable to unplug ppl everyday in hospitals because they are 'dependent' lives.
And only GOD can determine that a fertilized embryo is an actual person. T
These two reasons are why the Supreme Court allows abortion: it recognizes that society can not answer these questions either way with certainity.

You really think God has nothing better to do than to make up punishments for people who have an abortion?
and how does the male get punished? isn't he at least equally liable for the abortion?
and if this is a punishment, can i also start thinking that every other 'bad' thing that happens is a punishment? starvation amongst babies in Africa? punishment? nahhhh
