Getting a trim always helps. If you dye your hair, then stop! That's what is drying it out and making it dull and brittle. Use a really good deep conditioner (one from a salon, for example). Gently pat your hair dry after your shower. Try not to use too many products for long periods of time.

It is possible to make the appearence, feel, and condition of your hair better, yes. But if your hair is burnt limpnoodle feeling like is melted and fused together on the ends there is nothing but the shears to cure that.
