no its not. im in a long distance relationship myself. you just have to talk things out. ask her if shes willing to do and be faithful. if you two feel that you should be together than take the chance. then maybe after a while you can move with her or vice versa.

No...but do slow things down. A holiday romance can with care, turn into something long term. Distance is not at all the issue. How well you actually know eachother is! SLOW DOWN! From your question it seems the expectation is for you to move? Sod your business then and actually the welfare of the children must be your priority! You are hung up on distance. If you lived next door the issues would be the same. Sorry to be blunt but I have been there!

You should take things slowly at first to get realistic and practical about the distance, esp if children are involved. If you both have the same attitudes to the relationship and are faithful, then its worth a shot! However, be wary that they may be a different person when they are in their home environment and vice versa......

No, long distance relationships are never a good thing. If you think you have a future with this person then close the gap. If they are not worth the effort then you have your answer about your future with this person.

I am in the Pacific NW, and my boyfriend is East Coast. We get together when we can, and are now trying to decide where we want to live together. It can work. We're still going strong. Good luck to you.

for about 1 month before you both realize that you no longer have anything to speak about, then it dies.
