would you agree, that the regulars who use this site, are some of the most interesting and intelligent, from all sides of the spectrum of thought,
there are some exceptions of course, not everyone is interesting and intelligent, some not all but some are very dull and boring,
but as an overall, i find i come back here because most, not all, but most are intelligent and interesting, sometimes i make them think and they make me think, most times i make them laugh and they make me laugh,
i just wanted to know if anyone else feels the same way

Yeah, generally I like the 'meeting of the minds' aspect here. It's nice to swap opinions and learn how other people tick. I actually have a suspicion that if most of the regulars were to meet up for a beer, we'd mostly wind up getting along well and having a laugh - I don't think we'd be at each other's throats in the slightest. Sooner or later, I'll give up Yahoo! Answers (all good thing must come to an end) but there are people here I'll miss.
Strange thing, this technology. There are people whom I would describe as a 'friend' even though I've never met them face to face and probably never will...

Exactly why I'm here. I can't find any intellectually stimulating questions and answers on any other category. Go to Music and it's "so-and-so Rules, so-and-so Sucks." What's the point of even discussing those.
This topic allows for some really challenging questions without easy answers. I'm glad there's people here that are willing to ask the hard questions.

Yep. I've met some really cool people here. I go to other sections when I begin to get ticked off and can't hold my sarcasm at bay any longer. But, I always end up back here to see what's going on with the people I've come to know and enjoy hearing from. Some of you guys make me laugh, learn and think.

I don't know if I count as a regular, I only have about 2000 points, but yeah, I keep coming back because of the people, along with the intellectual experience (which is a stupid way ppl say to get smarter ;-)

i agree...
but the main reason i come back is coz i remember some of the questions that i answered that have only been answered positively and helpfully by myself... if i wasnt answering, the asker would have only copped abuse and not got any help, answer or encouragement...
and the heresy ive been able to give my biblical views on, have changed peoples thinking..
so there certainly are some bad apples.. which is why its good for us genuine people to visit once in a while!
but overall, most ppl are pretty cool.

Sure! Nothing I love more than a good, intelligent, clean, battle of wits. You're right, some are insulting and therefore show their lack of education and thinking ability, but all in all it's a great group. I love learning, and am challenged here often.

definatly, this is the reason i come back here so often, to learn something that i didnt know before and to share what i know with others. You can learn a lot from here, and yes, there are exceptions like you say, but there are people who truely are after an intellectual forum that Answers provides.

I prefer the clever and witty answerer's. Intelligence is definitely something that I look for in a person but not on yahoo answers. I just look for opinions on here. You can definitely get a lot of different kinds of those on here.

after a while of being here, i pretty much know who are the interesting, intelligent people that i can argue, agree or debate with.
sure, i see them as regulars, and i always look out for their questions or answers.
yet, i can count them on 4 hands.
the rest sometimes surprises me, sometimes makes me even think, but usually they just prove my prejudice. (and yes, we all are prejudiced in some form)
but the people i count on those 4 hands, i treasure them and i always love their input on various subjects.
