6 months when she could hold up her neck longer. but since then 2 of my children are professional photojournalists and theyve taken lovely ones from newborne on. cruise web sites of childrens photographer for samples and see when u think your ready and what stly u want. also plan an after nap sitting and be sure baby is fed. if there is a routine less fussy time select that period for sitting. also be sure to keep identiy of child safe.

picture at the hospital when they were 2 days, then at 3 weeks and then at 1 year.

well first one was 3 months and then 6 months and then 1 year and next month we will do the 18 month

I have taken my son to Sears about every 3 months since he was born. He will be 2 tomorrow. They (at least the photographer's here) are wonderful with children.

I think whenever you want I have my son pictures from when he was 2 weeks old and I still get them taken cuz you can never have enough and if your like me I want to see how much he's changed from month to month.

At a month old, was the first one. Then a few more during her first few months in life. Then she gets one every year.

As a baby and then they do it in school starting in many Pre-K's and most if not all schools starting in Kindergarten.
