Why God needs to lie, what would God gain from that. Is God afraid from Human Being Punishment? Or Do People offer shelter or food to God and that God will make use of that?
In God we trust, because if you do not have trust in God promises, then it is Kayos.
It is God will not to lie; the same way it is God will that grace period (life time) is given to sinners to correct their path.
True and false are created by God as every thing created by God.
God is fair and only we try to be fair and we will never be. God is the truth and only we try to be truthful.

God didn't lie about Adam & Eve dieing. They died spiritually. See the parable of the prodigal son. When he repented and came back to his father, his father said,"my son was dead but is now alive". Whoever has the Son (Jesus) has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:12

If you believe in the Bible and have read it you will learn from your own Bible that you believe and follow that the God they wrote about played a lot of jokes on people telling them how much he loved them then drowning everyone, the list goes on. REREAD your Bible you will see.

Lying has been seen as a privation of god.
Which means it is like absence.
I think lying could be seen as one eighth of that which it is possible to perceive. It does kind of suggest that there is a patchiness to god, which seems like an unrigorous idea. If someone says 2 + 2 = 5, then who is saying that? If it is not god, then there is a bubble of reality which is something distinct to god, but god can also be described as nature, which i think is everything. perhaps god can lie when he is insane. if there can be insanity, then what is to oppose god as this insanity? only god going against himself.
it may be said that insanity is ungodly, so it must be the same thing as insubstantiality.

"upon the basis of a hope of the everlasting life which God, who cannot lie, promised before times long lasting," (Titus 1:2,)
"It is impossible for God to lie." (Heb. 6:18.)

God can not lie because he DOES NOT sin. The ninth commandment is that thou shalt not bear false witness. The root of a lie always is the master of deceit, Satan.

"God is not man that He should lie; nor the son of man that He should repent. Hath He said and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken, and shall He not make it good?"
I believe this verse is found in the book of Numbers 23.

If He made us "in His own image" and we´re giving Free Will to , among other things, tell the truth and lie, He can lie.
but He doesn´t need to, because He is perfection. And there´s no room for lies (imperfect information) in Perfection.
that´s what I think anyway.....
