The 'stereotype' of women being possessed moreso than men is because women can be 'bred' with evil. It's all in the mind, i.e. people think evil will GROW inside a woman, like 'evil spawn' ie. Rosemary's Baby.

Have you thought about which gender has been behind every major war in the history of the world? Have you thought about the gender of all the serial killers and rapists in prison and on death row? What do you mean...? It's men who are often more corruptable by power and deceipt. Ok, I promise I'm not a man-hater. I think men have traditionally thought of women as more evil because they have been seduced and enchanted by us, and we have made THEM think "evil" thoughts, so to speak, so they blamed it on us, rather than admit their own weaknesses and temptations. So throughout history we got a bad rep. Personally, I think men are more violent and vengeful, and women are more catty and spiteful at times, so we are equally flawed.
