You don't have to do what they want to get them to like you back. Mutual good feelings for each other grow out of shared experiences, so doing things they like with them makes you and them feel good about being with each other.
If the person is asking you to do things that will make you feel bad about yourself, it won't work, don't do it. If the thing they want you to do is something you want to do, get after it and engender the good feelings.
Suggest things that you both might like doing. It is fun to brainstorm for those things. They will help you find things you both like to do, if they want to be with you.

Okronbon is fairly right. You DON't. But what i really think is that even though you dont have to, you should compromise and do it some of the time. Being honest and open is the most important thing in any relationship between dating, friends, or family. You should speak your mind. If the person really likes you then they will take your suggestion at heart and understand that you want to be you and that you still want to make them happy at the same time.
I find its easier to define love this way, "its the sacrifice of one's self for anothers well being in all areas of life, without second thought"
although you may not love this person, just remember that sacrifice is part of life and is very much necessary.

i dont think you have to do what they want in order for them to like you back. if someone should like you then they should like you for who you are and just you. if they dont then move on. someone out theres will like you for you and not for something they want to see you as

If they truly liked you back...they wouldn't make you do crazy stuff...or demand that you do certain things....I say move on from this one.
