You need to change the fuel injection or carburetion to increase the fuel charge, as alcohol has lower energy density. The bigger problem is probably materials compatibility, as seals and other things in your fuel system may be damaged by alcohol.

I would not do it. You may save a few pennies a tank, but it will likely cost you the price of an oxygen sensor when your check engine light goes on. That should be over $100. Burn the oxygenated fuels in newer cars. Besides you will get a little less mpg which will make up for the money you save at the pump anyway. There is less energy in the alcohol based fuels.

Get out of the car first (for safety reasons) then pour the alcohol in (the back seat is best). Light a match and toss it in the back seat. The higher the proof, the better it will burn.
P.S. This will work in new cars, too.

You mean A) a Molotov cocktail? Or B) as fuel??
A) throw a bottle of gasoline with a burning fuse in the car.
B) Replace the gasoline by alcohol.
Do not experiment this. It is dangerous.

It can be made to run, but I don't think you will like the performance. It can also be made to run on wood smoke. Back in the 30s in europe they had taxies that ran on wood smoke. Just befor the war..........I can't tell you where to look for the technology, I just know they did. Yes, I'm old enough to know.

Ethanol mixed with gas will burn efficiently in a car...It is used now, but you will see it more in the coming days.

drive to a secluded area, throw a couple bottles of Jack Daniels through the side windows and light a match...simple!
