There will never be peace if we try to co-exist with these crazy Islamic freaks. I say wipe them all off the face of the earth.

We are at war against a tribal government. The only way towin such is to break down the dependency of the tribal member to his chief. That it is alien to most americans that there are a lot of people world wide who know as a tribal member they will always be taken care of, we need to re-itterate the blessings of independence that our type of government allows. In such a war, the conservitive is allied with the tribalist because the conservitive is less likely to have any opinion different from their government. Which is the same as no opinion at all. One of the better actions that we are not taking is to give the natives the jobs beyond Policing and Military, those that are being given to infidels. We are in effect prolonging the war by assuming that the natives are incapable of adopting personal independence from an oppressive management system that tribalism is.

I think that unfortunately most Americans aren't affected by it in their daily lives (unless you count gas prices), but my best friend's husband has served two tours in Iraq, and now I have someone very important to me in Afghanistan. It's amazing how much more you pay attention to things when it affects your life, and most people don't know what that is like. Do I support the wars? No, if I have to make a generalized statement. Do I support the soldiers and sailors putting their lives on the line? Yes, without a doubt.

Alot of people keep saying we have "screwed up" alot of countries. Lets name a few. Germany, Japan, Italy, Spain, S Korea, on and on. We have made mistakes. Not understanding that sick societies, like sick people, cannot be helped until they have hit rock bottom. Was Iraq and Afganistan good causes to help?We haven't had any attacks on our own soil of late. Afgan people aren't being tortured and killed for things like watching TV. Sadaam and his crazy sons aren't threatening that region anymore, remember Kuwait and the Iran-Iraq war and the murdering of the Kurds. War isn't nice, it isn't pretty, but unless people are willing to die to free the opressed, the oppressors will prevail.

maybe the US should try to fix the countries they've screwed, and try to not fight another country i.e north korea or iran cause that will just make things worst. I think that going into iraq was the worst idea the US govt. had, and they should have known it wasnt going to be easy in the first place
