Met my wife online. We have been married 5 years now. I encourage people to meet each other but at the same time be smart and take safety measures.

Not really, no. I found love w a classmate. He asked me online though. But no online relationships, No luck at all. Maybe cuz I'm taken. Or cuz yeah, or both. I agree, not every1 is fake. That is only 2% or.000000002% of the real world. They have trusted sites for that.

Not everybody on the internet is a weirdo or a fake. I met my bf online. We live together and October will make 2 years we've been together, plus we were chat buddies for like a year prior to meeting. Best relationship I've had. My best friend met her husband online. But I agree with the previous poster who said you have to be smart and take safety measures. You have to really know how to read people nowadays. Lots of people - esp. married ones - seem to use dating sites and chat rooms as ways to hook up on the side, and aren't serious about a relationship. So you have to learn to look out for that, and you have to learn how to weed out all the other freaks too. But even with all this considered, I'm more comfortable with online dating than going out to bars or clubs. People in bars and clubs just always seem to be there just to get laid. In my opinion, it's harder to get to know someone in a crowded, noisy bar or club than it is to get to know them online.

Yes I have, still with him after 2 1/2 years. Its really the best way these days...you must be careful, but better than a bar!
