it is light brown with natural blond highlights.it is down to my under arms and it is layered at the bottom(no banges).

You have to look at what suits your face shape. Get a good hairstlyes magazine and have a look what is cool now and will suit your face shape. They normally have loads of pics all in different sections depending on your hair length and what will suit your face.
Then when you've picked it just take the picture to the salon and go for it!!

Hair color and cuts only go together if your hair is burnt up and is beyond hope of repair. Just because you get color on heathy hair doesn't mean you have to cut it. And a haircut doesn't mean you have to change your color. One has nothing to do with the other, and if someone is telling you it does find you another stylist.

a good hairstyle would be to get it cut like an inch and get it layered and have some of your hair parted to the side
