I'm still currently nursing my son, but would like to donate blood at the blood drive here at work. Does anyone know if i can do that, or not?

well i don't know where you live but i live in Ontario and they told me no i cant donate if you are breast feeding until 6 months after the birth and after they don't recommend it because it takes alot out of the mom

I'm not sure. I assume they'd tell you when you went to do it. My guess is you shouldn't. You may still have weird hormones flowing through you from the pregnancy. Plus you need to be strong for your kid.
