GTI golf, or Audi a3?

Funny you should ask that. Autoblog is currently doing a comparison between the 2 cars. For about the same price, you can either get a base A3 or a loaded GTI. Since both are from the same parent company and based on the same A5 platform, I guess your choice depends on whether you like status (A3) or features (GTI).

They've only completed Part 1 of a 3-part review, so you'll have to wait for the other 2 parts to make an informed decision.
