i've been spotting these huge ants in the house lately, i'm sure there getting in the house through some gap. last night there was one in my bed, and today i woke up from another one. are they dangerouse? i have no idea what typ they are, but they're big with big heads, and are black, some have a white butt, and they're very fast when they walk. do they sting or anything??

what color are the ants and what area of the country were talking about. Usually if youre from the east coast ants tend to be 10 times the size of those found on the west coast like California. Ants do not really have the power to be dangerous unless you are surrounded by them and they are fire ants (red) or the type you find in south america. if you have ant problem if you take care of it yourself it will take a month to get rid of all of them. but i would suggest to call an exterminator because they becomes pests.

They might bite you, but from your descrpition they don't sound poisonous or anything. Try getting some Raid, or some type of spray or disks. They should take care of your problem within a couple days.

Well I'm not really sure how to stop them by finding the hole, So either Use a lot of raid or get an exterminator

Sounds like they may be carpenter ants. They'll eat wood, like a termite!
