Just how exactly are homosexuals damaging society?

I am not homophobic. I support equal rights for lesbians and homosexuals, and believe there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay. I hear individuals making the argument that homosexuals damage society in some way. I have not seen this happen, or seen evidence for it. I am wondering why people make the argument with nothing to support it.

Yes, children raised by homosexual parents do grow up to be "normal." This has been supported by every reputable research study to date.

I don't know. I always figured homosexual couples were great for urban renewal.

Homosexuals couples tend to be DINKS (double income, no kids). They move into poorer neighborhoods with poor schools and soon the neighborhood is full of galleries, restaurants and nice boutiques and the whole area turns around.

I think homosexual conduct, and society's acceptance of it and even EMBRACING of it, is part of a larger downslide in society's moral health.

When taken as a single issue, homosexuality is probably not doing much damage, if at all. But taken along with all the other stuff going on today, it's contributing to an overall moral decline in society.

There are lots of things in society today that, just a generation ago, were considered very much out of bounds. Today, though, these things are seemingly par for the course.

This cannot be blamed totally on homosexuality, of course, but it has contributed a lot toward it.

Homosexuality is an excessive action. Any thing more than its measure will cause damage. Uncontrolled sexual lust will undoubtedly destroy the fabric of society, which is family which is in itself a mini-society. It will not be immediately seen, just like eating too much will not give you a heart attack immediately. That damage is on so many levels, that it will be the return of Rome when they were the most advanced in society but turned to homosexuality and destroyed the fabric of their society, that a small group of Germans destroyed an entire empire. Can you not hear the crumbling of liberal democracy?

That is because most people are afraid of major changes, and by gays coming out of the closet, things eventually will have to change enough to acknowledge them.

With that in mind, a lo of the norms will change, normal marriages will no longer be normal, and with time, they will last less and less.

At the end, it comes down to humans will never be happy with their society, and while some are trying to preserve it, others want to change it for their convenience. With so much change in our society, there will be less moral standards, eventually leading to a complete brake down of what a normal society should be to continue a positive progress.

Why? Because more and more groups will have their agendas, creating more and more conflict between the people, eventually leading into chaos.

Look at every family affected by perversion. Look at the families which children are being raised by two dads or two moms. You think these kids will grow up and be normal? I see one close to me-there are 3 children. They are perverted-it is sad. It is not funny either. Many of these kids kill themselves. I think homosexuality should be a crime.

They aren't. Homosexuality is natural! It's very normal.

The bigots who say they are are just that- bigots. Don't listen to them. If they get up against you for an issue that shouldn't even be one, like sexual orientation (it's not a problem, it's just a goddamned way of life! Who cares? Let people live and be merry!), get revenge from whichever way you deem fit.

They don't bother me, but when it is broadcast into my home through everything and pushed on my children I have a problem with that. I guess the same way most feel about Christianity. Personally, I think it's the least of our worries, with the war and all.

I've seen a lot of evidence...have you heard of AIDS? Another example...if everyone became a homosexual, how would we propagate? Why not read and STUDY the Bible?
