My husband and I met on June 9th and got married August 20th of that year. It was quick but we knew we were meant for each other. We have a wonderful marriage, a beautiful little boy, and another baby on the way. You can imagine growing old with a number of people but ask your daughter to try and imagine growing old and not having this man in her life. If she can't do it, tell her to say yes right now! Don't forget, if they have their minds made up, there isn't much you can do. My parents tried to talk us out of it but now they are glad I was too stubborn to listen. Good luck!

Yes, i think 5 months is a very short time to meet someone and fall in love and get married. I am 23 yrs old soo I don't have much experience with love, but i do know that it takes a long time to truly get to know a person and know if they are who you are supposed to be with. I think if marriage is such a sacred union it should be hel in higer esteem than that. I would say speak to her see if she is willing to wait a little more.i am sure they could love each other but love is not always what makes a marriage work in my opinion.

It depends on them. I got married after dating my husband for 3 weeks, and knowing him for 5 months. We have been married for 3 years, and I have never been happier! Look at it this way, at least she's telling you she's getting married. When we got married, we eloped. People had only just found out that we were dating! If she is happy, let her live her life.

I think six months should be the minimum, but it is different with everyone. Your daughter must know because she is the one that will have to live with her choice. But I believe if you have enough faith in her choice, then she will be fine. Don't worry about, once there are no signs of any kind of abuse they should be fine.

i'm no expert on relationship, even yet it sounds to me which you have 2 men who're basically approximately polar opposites. you have on one hand, the guy who lives in yet another state, yet sounds calmer and (however much less relaxing) extra sturdy. the different hand has the guy who's relaxing, yet smokes (around a baby?) and gets put in reformatory? If I have been a mom, this does not be one in all those dad i could choose my baby to be around. the two men love you, yet one in all them does not act "loopy". i do no longer comprehend what you propose by making use of "loopy", however the respond seems fantastically sparkling to me and for the sake of your toddler, decide for the 1st or do exactly no longer flow in any respect.

I think it is too soon. How can you know someone after only 5 months?

I think its ok if they love eachother. If you want to be sure, try and get them to set the wedding date in about a year and half (or more).

Depends on them. Let them make their own mistakes though...it will be a good learning lesson!
