It'll wear off over time.
Be proactive - start dating other guys (single) who are your age. Even if they're "not the same" you'll still find someone with good qualities and it'll help you realize you have options.

Whoa, you've become obsessed? Finding an older man sexy is not astonishing. The fact that he is married should cause some barriers to arise on your part and on his part. If he is not encouraging your obsession, I'd suggest that you hold back before you cross a line that could land you in serious trouble.
You probably didn't know that a wife can file claim against a woman who is having an affair with her husband - the courts generally award them big bucks for alienation of affection. The husband doesn't even have to get involved. Just your actions as a lone stalker could put you in jeopardy of a lawsuit. If that doesn't slow you up, imagine how immature your actions appear to him and/or her. That would be enough to make me stop.
The best way to stop is if you put yourself in his shoes, knowing that he is not willing to play along and view your antics objectively from the eyes of this older man (who will not be flattered if you create a problem with his marriage). Once you see how foolish a one-sided relationship is you'll stop hurting yourself by imagining more than there is and acting on it.
Get a journal, write your obsessions down and get it off your chest and move on.

IT HAS TO BE WITH YOUR EMOTIONAL I.Q...cause generally as a human instinct or a defense mechanism women/men tend not to fall for a married person without even thinking about it...its natural...so, is more a personal problem that combines different issues about ur persona, go to a therapist now that ur young, so u dont repeat this type of unhealthy behavior, like u said is an obssesion, thank God u r not confussing it with love...to stop this u can do a thousand things but the first one and most important u already acknowledge it, ur "obssesed", the second and most important is to cut any link with him (communication etc) before starting any treatment....good luck 2u

I am 36 and in love OBSESSIVELY with a 61 yr old married man who lives 6 states away from me. I talk to him constantly and hang on until the next phone call which comes maybe 2 times a day for about 1/2 hour before he is home again and has to get off the phone.
Let's see.... hmmmm... this cycle has gone on and off for 2 yrs now. I keep asking, "when are you going to leave your wife???? and come be with meeeeee????"... and he puts me off and off..
In fact, I was just whining about that this morning.
Please don't think that this obsession is going to become real. Especially if you are young. Don't waste your time on this dick. Trust me, he isn't going to leave his wife, and I don't want you to become another Amy Fisher.
Try to obsess about someone your own age or even someone who you think might POSSIBLY be with someday!!!!! I know it feels like the hardest thing you have ever had to do but just try.. please?

If you are under 18 stay away. If you are older than 18 then I guess you'll have to do whats best for both of you.

Sorry. That's sick. So, look around at all the guys of your age. You must find a hot one. There has to be one at least that will attract you. Think about him instead. OK. Imagine your older guy naked. Turns you off? He's OLD!

there's nothing much you can do. Your heart decides who and whom it does and does not like. It's going to take some time for you to get over him, but in the mean time try and find some nice guy around your age. summer is here so try a summer fling!

Girl! Find a new obsession. Don't mess with him. And if he likes you too, he is a slime ball. For liking someone younger and for wanting to cheat on his wife. Marriage is forever.
