"andrew" and i went to school together, he just graduated and i'm going into junior year. i finally got up the nerve to ask for his phone number- he gave it to me, acted really positive and said i should "call him sometime." i did, waiting about a week so as to not seem desperate, and andrew told me he was going camping but would call me as soon as he got back. he didn't. i waited a little longer and called him again, and andrew said that he had to have dinner with his family that night but he'd "definitely call me after." once again, he didn't. while it's true that he's kind of forgetful, i wonder if this is some way of "letting me down gently." if that is the case, i am kind of hurt considering that he doesn't know me at all, so how can he know if he's not interested? i'm confused and wondering if i should call him one last time. it's been about 2-3 weeks since i last talked to him.

gurl im telen you call that boy and if he says hes gonna call you bak rite wen you get on the phone then say no talk to me for a sec and then ask him if hes not interested in talking to you at all....wen he answers if he saids no he wants to talk then ask him what his problem is why has it ben so long since he hasnt called....but if he says that hes not interested then just say im sorry but y didnt you tell me ???? gurl you need to take a chance...you never kno what will happen...?

I think you should ask him when a good time to call him is. Like if you call again and he says he's having dinner and he'll call you after, say something like "well, I've got a few things to do but I can call YOU when i'm done. What is a good time for me to call." Then see what happens from there. If he ignores your call he may be letting you down gently and then just move on.

This sounds like a case of "thanks but no thanks". Andrew gave you his number because he didn't know how to not give it to you without hurting your feelings. It seems like he's doing it again, by not responding to your calls and or making up things. While I must admit, I don't know Andrew, and he very well could be busy this summer - I think you're setting yourself up for more disappointment. Let it go...there are a plethora of fish out in the sea...

just think of how many times a guy asked you to call him and you didn't. you may have though to keep him waiting ( as a backup )

feeling you area fox and you say, wellllllll not really, but now i'll tell you the rest of the story. i am 62 bald retired 2 grand kids. when you find out more of this person, think of how fast you would call one as myself. you cannot make someone like you . don't give them a one night stand.

HE MUST BE INTERESTED INTO ANOTHER GURL AND JUST DON'T HAVE THE NERVE TO CALL YOU. SO TRY CALLING ONE LAST TIME AND ASK HIM IF HE IS INTERESTED IN YOU AND IF HE SAYS NO THEN JUST MOVE ON AND FIND A NEW GUY TO TALK TO!!!

here is the thing. it could mean more than one thing, it could mean
a) he's pretending he doesn't care, kinda like girls (play hard to get)
2) got busy
3) forgot or ur just not that important to him
but still i mean if he doesnt like u or care about u, he wouldn't have picked up ur phone call u know? but who knows?
Dont call him anymore, if he is not calling you, its better for u to talk to him face to face, Don't call him no more! u talk to him and tell him straight up, whats going on, u never call me back? just ask him and see what he got to say.

Sorry, but don't waste your time on him. If he wants to call you, he will but don't wait for him and don't call him again. Believe me, you'll be better off if you don't push yourself on him. Just go out with your friends and have fun, you'll find someone.

naw sounds like this guy doensn't really like you he doesnt even really know that you are trying to talk to him and by the looks of it he might be avoiding you. so if i were you i'd suck up what's left of my pride and leave that boy alone.
